Two Nations . . . Two Cities . . . One Purpose
For the past few days Laura and our watoto have been in Winnipeg having fun and visiting friends. Let's just say I had some time on my hands and decided to play around with Movie Maker. I have some ideas for possible fundraising material. This promo video is one of my many ideas. Check it out and let me know what you think. Eventually I would like to make two videos . . . one comparing Bukavu to Killarney and one showing the need in the DRC. Hopefully this works . . . enjoy!!!!!

Okay - this is my second attempt at commenting - probably shouldn't admit that.Good video. Some suggestions on the comparisons - when you show our water tower,how about a comparison with the water source at that village that the guys went to - not actually in Bukavu but they had the same type there over near Panzi - or do you have pictures of those yellow plastic water jugs that people carried?Or how about a comparison of hospitals (close to my heart) - or the market compared to one of our grocery stores ? I think that this should be an effective tool for you Joel because it is first hand - you were there - sometimes that makes it easier to make it real to those who are listening.
