Not a day goes by where we do not think about our children, our watoto in Bukavu. We knew God sent us to the Bukavu for a reason . . . to fall in love with His children of another nation. We are still overwhelmed by the thoughts of their smiles and laughter and we await the day when we will see them again.

We often wonder if the children still remember us and talk about us. We received an email the other day where we were told the children still ask about us, especially my wife. They ask about Laura "Mama Watoto" (Mother of Children) and when she will return. We will return and this time we will bring our children. Oh how we long for that day!!!! It's so exciting to hear about the impact our first visit had on the Congolese people. We definitely look forward to returning some day.
