The Giant . . .

This past week I came across the story of David and Goliath while doing my morning devotions.  I realized while going through the scriptures that we still face our own Goliaths in our day to day lives . . .

Giants such as health issues and financial burdens . . . okay I will be honest with you . . . I chose these two because these are the giants we are facing today.  How do we get rid of these giants?  What's the easiest way?

The god of this world brings these giants upon us . . . and at times we are left realing and wondering to ourselves, "What are we going to do?"  But we have our faith, as did David when he faced Goliath face to face.  We have our faith in Christ Jesus and we know through Him all things are possible.  We have that slingshot loaded and pointed at the enemy,but only our faith in Jesus will allow us to let it go!!!!

We load our slingshop (the word) with the rock (the spoken word) and let it fly . . . hitting the enemy right smack in the head!!!! 

Only our faith in God the Father can bring us through these times of despair, these times of hopelessness.  We have victory in Jesus . . . we have victory over all the things of the world!!!!!

Our current situation will get better . . . we know it will get better . . . we've laid it in His hands.  We are facing a giant . . . and our giant is about to fall!!!!
